A cat whose claws were healed went around asking everyone to give it belly rubs. It’s ready to be a pampered house cat.

A stray cat was brought to the veterinary clinic with an injured paw. It was unable to bear weight and walked with a limp.
The veterinary team cleaned and treated his paw and contacted our animal rescue partner, PuppyKittyNYCity, to place the large tabby in foster care.
The kind folks at the rescue center took him in without hesitation and named him Moose.

They continue to treat him with foot soaks twice a day. Moose is a very well-behaved boy, and he took everything in knowing that they were trying to help him.
After so many years on the streets, Moose seems relieved and grateful to have a roof over his head, food to fill his belly, and people to take care of him.

With the help of the community, rescuers were able to place Moose in a foster home so he could continue his recovery. With a voracious appetite and an insatiable desire for affection, Moose seems to be trying to make up for lost time.
With nutritious food, a comfortable environment and loving people, Moose is recovering well.

He is a sweet boy who loves his pets. Moose is full of love.
As soon as Moose was on his feet, he started running around seeking attention. As soon as he hears his name, he walks towards the person calling him, puts his face in the other person’s hand, and then pounces on the ground for a belly rub.

Soon it became the king of cuddles and demanded hugs. He would roll on his back, stretch his whole body contentedly, and then turn his belly toward his companion to pamper him.
He was the biggest kitten I had ever seen. He was a big boy, full of love.”

Moose immediately charmed everyone at the rescue center, who thought the big boy deserved a wonderful home where he could be cared for for the rest of his life.
“He has a great personality and is friendly with female cats and humans, but definitely doesn’t like male cats”.

Moose, who has spent most of his life outdoors fending for himself, is happy to be an indoor cat. He has a few scars on his face and ears, but he doesn’t care as long as he gets to be a favored house cat.
Moose likes to roll around on the floor when he’s happy, which he always does.

After months of searching for a foster home, Moose’s dream finally came true. He left the rescue and started a new journey with his forever family in his new home.
