A week ago, a kitten showed up outside the Eden (Calif.) Police Department. The kitten wandered around the building for a few days before deciding to stay.

The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook, “We believe this kitten was trying to walk as a K-9 unit.

“This kitten was looking for a home and decided to come to our patrol station and found a bed in the sheriff’s printer.”

The kitten claimed his new napping spot and was very at home with the people in the office, as if he had always been there.

The kitten was a stray and needed a forever home. Deputy Scalise took the shoulder-bound kitten to the vet and fell in love with the little baby.

She took the kitten home and made it part of her family.
